REPHOUSE NEWS

AUSTRALIA - July 21, 2009

Newcastle's NRL and A-League teams received a boost with the New South Wales government granting A$20 million to redevelop and upgrade Energy Australia Stadium. The three-stage development will modernize the dated stadium facilities and replace the existing western grandstand, increasing the crowd capacity from 33,000 to 40,000 by the end of 2010. Construction of stage 1 and 2 has been completed and stage 3 to is to continue until the end of 2010. Rephouse has supplied 825 m2 of Neoflex™ 600 Series Rubber Flooring for stage 1 of the project and and 735 m2 of Neoflex™ 600 Series Rubber Flooring for stage 2. Areas covered are for the stadium entry, conference areas, medical areas, changing rooms, functions areas, indoor training areas and massage areas. The new stadium will give Newcastle an opportunity to sell better seating and corporate facilities to a larger audience and assist with our longevity and puts them in the same league as the likes of the Broncos who have Suncorp Stadium or the Titans who have Skilled Stadium.
